There are different levels of load organiser, just like there are different levels of skydiver.
Load organisers range from those that you might only find on the local DZ at weekends, to those that travel the world to organise at top skydiving events, team captain for multi-aircraft big ways and even plan world record attempts.
Organisers can also be found covering FS, freeflying, wingsuit, atomonauti and tracking.
At the top level, load organisers attract some of the very best skydivers in the world. Some skydivers will follow them anywhere to participate in stunning big ways and complex sequential skydives, as well as smaller 'quality invitational' events in great locations.
It is rare to find top organisers on the same dropzones every weekend, but it is often expected that dropzones bring in such people to add kudos to the events they organise and variety to the service provided.

Not all load organisers are equal and often the speed of your early progression is about finding the teaching style that works best for you.
Some organisers are very technical - focusing on balance, symmetry, bio-mechanics and precision of movement. Others adopt a more informal 'boogie' style and often use humour to put people at ease. These are two extremes (with many types in between) and there is no saying which works best or which is right for you. This is why it is so important to jump with as many different organisers as you can!
Without doubt though, if, once you've nailed the basics, your ambition is to work towards more complex formations and challenges then you will find that the more technical approach prepares you better.
