Big Way Beginners

If you want to learn the basic skills so you can be part of larger formations as the year progresses or if you are an intermediate /experienced jumper wanting to help strengthen the groups or brush off the cobwebs, then this event is for you!

Aimed at:

 

 

 

Beginners wanting to learn big way skills.
Intermediates/experienced jumpers wanting to practice specific skills / strengthen groups, or "cross the line to find out where it is"!

Event goals:

 

Basic skills (exit, approach, no momentum docking). This event is not about completions or multiple point skydives (although we are not stopping you!!)

60+ slots available + 4 camera

Big Way Beginners is once again visiting Hibaldstow!

Criteria for beginners to take part is 50 jumps post FS1, basic FS skills (e.g. consistent 6 point 4 way). All jumpers must be able to track away safely from an 8 way and be comfortable with related canopy traffic. Everyone meeting basic criteria is welcome.

Multiple 8-10 ways groups will kick off the event and grow to 22 way in size (for those demonstrating good safety skills in smaller groups).

More information will be emailed to participants nearer the time.

The meet time on the first day however will be early (e.g. 8am). Groups will need to be sorted on the first day (prior to dirtdiving), so patience while we get going will be requested.
